Not everybody loves insects, especially ones with more then 4 legs. But these inspirational logo designs surely give us a happy inspiration as to how useful insects can be. A series of congratulatory cards fora publishing house called "Contact-culture", all created by Max Kostenko.
Remember playing games on 3.5'' floppy disks ? I do! Whatever the case, it has nostalgic value.
In the last few years more and more instances of the floppy disks have been spotted online but i couldn't find anything interesting for myself. So i came up with an idea; Disk-it An iconic alternative to the most popular yellow post-it notes, 3.5'' floppy disk shaped sticky notes, designed for taking notes - attaching notes to documents and to other surfaces. Enigmatica is a research project by Kit Webster, it’s about combining light, sound and space to create multi-dimensional synesthetic environments. Very nice work! It's not every day you see an interresting flyer design like this. Particularly when its for a cool party and the design itself is done in an old retro styled game package. See for yourself, definately well thought of!
“L’Angoisse de la page blanche” (The Anguish of the White Page) by Ariel Schlesinger is a kinetic installation where 2 A4 sheets are pressed against each other and spin at the same time. Yeah you should watch the video. Here's a funny one, whether or not it is legit, I don't know. But seeing a plasma screen rotating will keeping the picture in place, is definately cool! “Speed of Light” is a series of immersive light installations by UnitedVisualArtists, it was commisioned by Virgin Media to celebrate the tenth anniversary of broadband in the UK. The installations explore the themes of communication and modernity. UnitedVisualArtists decided to use fibre optics as it’s a perfect fit to the broadband theme. At the entrance, the visitors are asked a question, they can speak their answers into a microphone. That input is then used by several parts of the installation to guide the lasers. I’m pretty sure that it’s impossible to capture the whole experience with some photos. So if you’re in London, you can go and see “Speed of Light” at the Bargehouse till April 19th. A collection of fantastic robot designs you will never ever see. Highly inspirational and quality work to make your jaw drap.

Puppet Warp: This feature is one of the most advanced features I have seen in photoshop but remember “advanced” does not always mean complex. This feature is pretty easy to use and does some amazing stuff. Check it out. Content-Aware: This feature is like a dream come ture, especially for users like me who do not know much about working with Photoshop. This is a life saver when it comes to removing unwanted objects from the image. Simple and easy! HDR: Super COOL feature for all the photographers out there. Just select multiple pictures as required in the process and with a few clicks you will have your HDR ready. 3D Objects: Turning text and other objects cannot get any easier. I’ve read a tons of tutorials that show you how to turn the text into 3D. This new feature does not require a 30 steps long tutorial to achieve the 3D look.
