We know things can get pretty hairy in the war between man and machine. Even in times of peace a foul-mouthed forum troll slagging off your favorite consumer electronics company can be too much to bear. But violence is never the answer. Yes, we're looking at you Mr. Down-on-his-luck series 800. Watch the Leon Wang created story unfold after the break. Loewe definately knew what they were doing while making this commercial for one of their TVs. Funny and pleasant to watch. Last year at RoboGames was the very first Mech Warfare competition. Like, ever. And it was pretty cool. But this year was exponentially more awesome. Mech Warfare pits walking robots armed with airsoft rifles against each other in a detailed cityscape. The robots are controlled remotely, but the catch is that you can’t directly see your robot. Instead, competitors rely on wireless cameras mounted on the bots themselves to see where they’re going, kinda like the old Mech Warrior computer game. I’d tell you more about how it all went, but I’m sure you’d rather just watch the video.
The commercial titled Men With Talent was done by NEBOKO advertising agency for HEINEKEN company in Netherlands. It was released in the April 2010. And it's silly as hell, typical dutch style of thinking when it comes to funny commercials like these. The video assures viewers that whatever sticky notes can be reused are, but let’s just hope the notes being used are at least 50 percent post-consumer recycled. Artists should suffer for their art, but trees shouldn’t.
Andrew Lloyd-Webber is not just on the lookout for a Dorothy, he's searching for his Toto too, in a new campaign for BBC 1. 'The Wizard of Dogz' is a story that unfolds in a magical dog-inspired World of Oz, where the yellow brick road is paved with dog biscuits. Follow our canine friends as they embark on their journey to the Emerald City.
Source: campaignlive Done in a 16bit game style, Dan the Man goes on a journey to save the princess, and what does he find out? That all women are the same. A silly and funny video that is worthy to make you laugh! Not much to say, except that it was funny and cute to watch! Never knew sharks could be so silly. New South Park episode 'You Have 0 Friends' will take over your TV during the perfect year, with movies 'The Social Network' (starring Justin Timberlake) and 'TRON Legacy' hitting theaters. One is the sequel to computer epic 'TRON' and the other is a movie about the beginning of Facebook. But what do these movies have to do with upcoming South Park episode 'You Have 0 Friends'? Well, in the episode description of 'You Have 0 Friends', it's described as being about Stan getting sucked into Facebook when Kyle begs him to "friend" him on the social networking site. In a still from the episode, Stan is shown decked out in 'TRON'-style gear, probably ready to partake in some real-life Facebook games like FarmVille (oh please make fun of FarmVille) and Mafia Wars. So will 'You Have 0 Friends' make a mockery out of Facebook by putting the social network site in a 'TRON'-style setting, or will it make it look epically awesome? I'm hoping that the episode thoroughly destroys the social networking site, just like the MCP is destroyed in 'TRON", ridding the world of the ridiculous hold Facebook has over all of us, and this crazy obsession with collecting "friends", many of which are people that Facebook users' only social contact with has been when they are invited or invite them to be their Facebook friends! In 'TRON', the MCP (Master Control Program) reveals that its ultimate plan is to break into the mainframe of the Pentagon and other military mainframes in order to essentially take over and run the human world itself. So will Facebook be portrayed as having the same agenda? Will Justin Timberlake be one of the Users/Programs in 'You Have 0 Friends'? Will Facebook ever be defeated? I don't know, but I think that many Facebook users would love the opportunity to be sucked into the social networking site, and therefore I think that even if 'You Have 0 Friends' makes those that have friended everyone they went to high school with, the college friends of every one they went to high school with, the family members of the college friends of every one they went to high school with, and that random guy they talked to for five minutes at the bar last night look like idiots, all that they will do is log into Facebook to tell all their "friends" about the awesome episode of South Park they just saw and let everyone know that they will definitely be watching 'TRON Legacy' when it hits theaters. Because having this kind of enlightening conversation with yourself about what you've just done, what you're doing right now, and what you're going to do in the future is just what Facebook friends are for.
