What's with Playstation and their creepy ads making gamers out to be freaks? I'm really not sure about how I feel when I look at their ads. On a flip side, it's creepy in most cases and very funny in some. Enjoy, but be warned, some of these pictures can be offensive and disturbing! It’s an advertisement. The same format we flip channels (and buy devices) to avoid. And yet it’s generated a massive amount of buzz, user-generated content, and traffic in support of the soon-to-be released Motorola Droid.
Commercial director Dennis Liu, therefore, had a heck of a challenge when approached by Microsoft to hype the upcoming release of Office 2010. But Liu rose admirably to it with the film trailer spoof Office 2010: The Movie. “My idea was to treat [Office] like the most exciting thing ever,” he said via phone. “And what’s more exciting than an action movie?”
Think you’ve seen it all? Mona Lisa and Duck Hunt, what could they possibly have in common? Well, nothing really, some random guy out there with mad video editing skills made a video with a Mona Lisa picture and a arcade style gun attached to it, with ducks flying all around Mona Lisa. A attendee grabs the gun and starts shooting the ducks as they pass around Mona Lisa. Yes it sound as trippy as it is. Have a look for your self... Source: Adverblog It's not every day you see an interresting flyer design like this. Particularly when its for a cool party and the design itself is done in an old retro styled game package. See for yourself, definately well thought of!
Nike Music Shoe is an awesome ad for the Nike Free Run+ shoe. In the video you can see Hifana doing a live performance by using the shoes as controllers. By bending the flexible sole of the Nike Free Run+, they can control different sounds. I’m actually pretty sure that it is real because I think that I spotted Daito Manabe in the video. And we all know what he’s capable of. I guess they’ve used some flexible sensors and hooked them up to MaxMSP. Great work! And yes, the shoes used in the video are the real sound controllers. Tomoaki Yanagisawa of 4nchor5 la6 was responsible for the hardware part. He added flexible and accelerometer sensors to the shoes. Daito Manabe of rhizomatiks did the sound programming with Max. They were both commissioned by Wieden + Kennedy Tokyo for this project. The new Samsung OmniPro™ CP1395 microwave that certainly knows how to make a party in your own kitchen. So be expected to see a happy, dancing chicken in your new microwave! Conan O'Brien's "Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour" is gearing up as we speak, with the debut performance landing in Eugene, OR on Monday evening. Very little is known about what we can expect from the tour, though Conan has promised laughter, music, and "hugging". We also know that his sidekick, Andy Richter, will be along for the ride-- though Triumph The Insult Comic Dog will not. Finally, we know that Conan's promotional team has gone into overdrive, with the digital billboards seen on this page just the first to pop up around the country. The billboards feature whatever Conan Tweeted last, and update as regularly as he does. The company behind the boards, Lamar, had this to say about the project:
Conan has lost his home and his rightful place on millions of screens across the nation. His audience is also lost. Some are picking up the pieces of their lives, but many can't. Some are too young to know this isn't their fault: that they've done nothing wrong. So, until this talented, brilliant, voluptuously coiffed man has his show back, we shall offer him our screens. His tweets will be displayed 22 feet wide on thousands of digital displays across this great land in the noble hope of putting a little Conan back in all of our lives. Lamar is with Coco.
